Hey, I'm cleaning out the basement and decided to get rid of an old casting combo.
Abu Garcia Royal Express III spooled with I believe +100 yards of braid with dacron behind it. I think the braid is 80lb and the dacron 30lb.
Cabelas Pro Guide 7ft 2 pc. 10-20lb 3/8-2/14oz- it is IM6 era and not heavily used. Matte black with cork grip (~12in straight butt).

This reel is USED. It's seen stripers and blues, bass and pike, and even a few sailfish and barracuda. It was rinsed after every day in the salt. I opened it up and cleaned it out a couple years ago, and it currently works fine. A screw or two gone, but works smooth. I have had some issues with the spool engaging in the past, but I've sorted them out, and you could probably fix it too. There was a plastic thumb rest on top of the reel that I ditched years ago.
The drag is butter smooth and the reel has an on-off clicker and a metal spool release. 6.3:1 ratio and 3 BB. There is >$30 of line on this reel, used once.
This would make a solid 12-20lb rig.
