Tried it once in the Oldman near Lethbridge. Used a leech pattern. Only hooked one, but it sure was fun!!

hi all, im new to this forum (1st) post. im a bc boy and fish mostly for salmon stergeon and trout living west of the rockys. i am i guide in the summer months, mostly guiding on the fraser, vedder and harrison river systems but not limited to the three. i have recently landed a job in alberta and plan on fishing a bit while im in the edmonton area, i have heard that the walleye fishing on the north saskatchewan can be pritty good at times. but i have never fished for walleyes and i havent the slightest idea where to begin fishing or what to use out there. if there is any one that wouldnt mind helping me out it would be much appriecated, ie lures spots times whatever as i am a newby to walleyes and have wanted to hook in to one for quite some time now. oh and if im going to be on this forum witch i think i could be a contributing member one day i hope all you spell checkers out there can deal with my horable spelling and bad gramar, i hope you can understand me and that i wont make you to mad. tight lines to all <*)))><

Hey there Abe,
I wouldn't mind dropping you some hints on Fishing in Alberta, but I don't know much about the rivers... I do however know a bit about the local (and northern) lakes...
If you would like information on a few of the lakes that I frequent (mostly in May / June), then drop me an email at Coady39@hotmail.com ...
Jim
p.s. It's NOT that I don't want to post my thoughts here, but rather that if you drop me an email, I can take my time and put together my thoughts without trying to hurry !!! I actually don't mind sharing at all - even my Hot Spots !!! So, having said that, if anyone reading this would like my 2 cents worth, please feel free to drop me an email...
