Many things were newsworthy stories in 2011, including Japan's earthquake, the Winnipeg Jets, Boston Bruins winning the cup, setting a new personal best for most fish caught on a single day on my favorite lake, majority gov in Ottawa, Jack Layton, occupy groups across the country, Vancouver riots, Alberta Fishing.net facebook page getting 3500 friends to just name a few. What do you think was the top story of 2011?
