Welcome back to the world of the fishing web. I thought you were gone forever there for a while. Too bad about past poses as there was a lot of good information on those posts. Anyway it will come back too. To kick the new post off why don't I complain about the weather and how it is keeping me and my son-in-law off the ice this winter? The snow adds insult to the cold. The only good thing about the snow is that it should replentish a lot of the water levels in the smaller lakes and pond (providing if is a quick thaw). If the forecasts hold true it looks like we may get one or two more trips onto the ice but probably not on any lake north of Red Deer (too much snow). There are a couple of places I want to try on Travers reservoir where I know a few monster pike are hanging out so bring on some moderation. I'm hoping that the north country is getting a good dusting of snow as North Wabasca is getting pretty low.
